Students synthesize the fundamental theories and techniques of group counselling. Through a combination of didactic and experimental learning activities, students explore their own interpersonal behaviors and those of others in a group context. The activities will focus on interpersonal communication skills, feedback and self-disclosure skills, and intervention techniques. Leadership, therapeutic boundaries and ethical guidelines for practice are also examined.
