Critical Issues for Fine Artists 1 (ARTS 2001)
In this course, students are introduced to important critical issues relating to the social, historical, and philosophical framework of contemporary art. This includes an introduction to theories related to art and visual culture. In addition, students are introduced to the appropriate vocabulary, as well as the critical and theoretical positions that are unique to contemporary art.
