Safety and Emergency Management (AVIA 3010)
In this course, students are equipped with the knowledge necessary to plan, develop, implement and evaluate aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) and emergency planning procedures. Students investigate the role that regulatory, organizational and human factors play when incorporating a Safety Management System. Students also gain the knowledge necessary to plan for and deal with the various types of emergencies encountered in the aviation Industry.
