Emotional Intelligence at Work (Micro-credential) (BUSN 0229)

In this module, students learn how to improve their relationships at work through an understanding of emotional intelligence (EI) and its role in leadership. Emotional intelligence is the capability of individuals to understand and manage their own emotions, as well as understand and influence the emotions of others. Using EI tools, strategies and techniques, students explore common emotions and behaviors, and how to manage emotions to achieve goal(s) in the workplace. This module is one of eight that make up the Management Essentials Micro-certificate.
