Identities and Diversity Patterns (Micro-credential) (BUSN 0238)

The second module in this series continues the conversation on belonging in the workplace, with an exploration of how experiences of belonging are connected to socio-cultural identities. Participants consider the ways in which they have experienced marginalization or contributed to the marginalization of others in the workplace. These experiences are countered with belonging strategies, such as inclusive language, micro-affirmations, amplification, and the formation of alliances to create meaningful change. These strategies empower participants to contribute to more equitable, inclusive workplaces for all. This module is the second of three that make up the Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Series Micro-certificate. Modules must be completed in sequential order, as each module builds on the skills in the previous module.
