Field Placement CJSR (CJSR 2006)

While on placement, students are provided with supervised exposure to the operations of a professional organization in the corrections and/or community justice industry. With the guidance and support of experienced agency supervisors and college-based placement monitors, students integrate the knowledge gained in the classroom with current practices in the field. Students develop an understanding of the daily operations of organizations, including policies and procedures, code of conduct, risk assessment and documentation.
