Introduction to Health Care Attendant (CORP 0199)
This 16-week training program includes a 6-week paid work placement, which occurs following the in-class theory and practical content. This course introduces the learner to all aspects of the Health Care Attendant role, including providing personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, evacuation), use of a mechanical lift and transferring, and light housekeeping (meal preparation and laundry).
