Person-Directed Planning (ODE) (DEVS 1017)
Students investigate different ways of assisting people to achieve a self-determined lifestyle through a collaborative person directed planning approach. A variety of person-directed planning tools is examined. Evaluation of the supports provided, and barriers to overcome during the planning process, are examined in terms of outcome based performance measures, accountability and quality of life indicators. The theory of Social Role Valorization is discussed.
