Observation and Documentation (ECED 1029)

Observations of children in early years settings provide early childhood educators with opportunities to enhance responsive positive learning relationships with others, the materials they use and their environments. In this course, students explore ways to notice, select, and collect observations, and become aware of objectivity and subjectivity in these processes. Students use a variety of tools and techniques to investigate children’s thinking and learning.
