Hydro Codes and Standards (ELEC 2014)
This course is designed to introduce the student to the structure and content of the Ontario Electrical Code. Students use design practice and principles applied to distribution and transmission standards as used by utilities and contractors in Ontario. Job analysis and design, planning, equipment selection, and government and legal challenges are covered as applied to new upgraded electrical infrastructure.
