The Flight Attendant (FLIE 1001)

Cabin Crew must balance safety, security and service amongst their passengers and fellow crew members. In this course, students examine the roles and responsibilities of a Flight Attendant. Service and professional standards, as well as common commercial aircrafts and the theory of flight are discussed. Students are introduced to the Canadian Aviation Regulations which influence how flight attendants work onboard an aircraft, and how they impact a crew member’s lifestyle and work/life balance. Students also discover how airlines rely upon their Flight Attendants to build and maintain company culture and branding.
