Cake Decorating (GINT 0153)

Students will be introduced to the world of sugar art and create beautifully decorated cakes. Learn how to work with buttercream, fondant, gumpaste, royal icing and more in this fun hands-on class. Students will learn about types of cakes and icings used by the professional cake decorator. Students will also learn beginner piping techniques including borders, writing, basket weave, simple piped flowers and leaves. In addition, students will learn to assemble and arrange all the decorative and floral components of a cake.
