Advanced Standing Skills Refresher (HSCI 0252)
For nursing students requiring an assessment of their skills, completion of this review course is mandatory. Students meet with their program coordinator to develop a list of nursing skills needing review. On the first day of the course, the student is to submit the review list to the instructor. Each student practices medical and surgical skills according to an individual review plan. Throughout the course, the student is critiqued on the list of skills requiring review and must be successful in order to continue in their respective nursing program.
