Critical Thinking in Practice (HUMN 1001)

Critical thinking is a disciplined, rational, informed, and open-minded thought process. Using critical thinking, students evaluate issues of morality, advertising, media, science, and politics. By applying active and disciplined thinking to current issues, students deepen their knowledge and understanding of both the issues, as well as themselves.
