Civil Litigation 2 (LAWS 2043)

This course is a continuation of Civil Litigation I, in which students examine in detail the rules and procedures, documents and preparation involved with discovery and trials in Ontario. Students also learn about various post trial tasks, including calculating interest, costs and drafting judgments. Students consider variations on the civil process with a focus on the rules of simplified procedure. Professional and ethical issues that arise in the context of civil litigation are explored.
