Ambulance Field Experience (PARA 2006)

Students have the opportunity to gain first-hand practical experience in the community as a part of an emergency health services team. Under the direct supervision of a paramedic team, students apply theoretical and practical content of previous courses through observation and participation in emergency medical and trauma situations. Students gain an understanding of the role of emergency medical services in the care of out of hospital patients.
