Canadian Criminal Justice (POLC 1002)

In this course, students are introduced to the construction of the Canadian criminal justice system including policing services, courts and corrections. Students examine each section of the Justice system with emphasis on the history, function, and relationships amongst the components of the system. Further, the students develop the critical skills required to interpret contemporary issues concerning the Canadian criminal justice system including those associated with the Canadian Charter of Rights.
