Activation in Gerontology (RECR 2017)

Students are introduced to activation in gerontology. Emphasis is on the theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are needed when planning, developing and evaluating activity programs with aging individuals. A holistic approach with consideration of psychological, physiological and social issues that impact aging individuals, their families and caregivers are explored.
