Issues and Trends in Therapeutic Recreation (TREC 1008)
Students examine a variety of issues and trends presently influencing the therapeutic recreation field. Through lectures, guest speakers and seminars, students explore the professionalization of the field, community development, accessibility, entrepreneurship, legislation and other current professional issues. Students are provided with an opportunity to reflect upon the trends presently affecting this rapidly evolving profession.
