Research in Therapeutic Recreation (TREC 1011)

Students examine both qualitative and quantitative research methods commonly used in therapeutic recreation. Issues related to conducting therapeutic recreation research, the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data are discussed. Knowledge of these topics enable students to engage in reflective practice and systematically conduct basic research in their professional careers. The student's ability to interpret and apply information in professional journals is examined.
